In 2026, we will once again take over Spoor Oost, a rugged industrial site with a touch of green, on the last Thursday of September, and kick off the academic year with a bang!
Antwerp students have known StuDay for years as a serious and unforgettable welcome party at the start of the academic year. And by serious, we don't mean a student dorm party, but Spoor Oost in flames, with a diverse program in four zones that appeals to all students. You can party, eat and drink, dance, discover cultural acts, chill, play sports, and participate in numerous (partner) activities.
StuDay brings students closer together and closer to the city.

StuDay should be a personal experience for everyone. A diverse and surprising range of music, food, drinks and activities ensures that this appeals to all students. A great place to end the summer and toast the new academic year with old and new friends.

Let's not be sarcastic: an event for some 20,000 visitors has an impact on the environment. Transport, logistics, electricity... it doesn't make the air any cleaner. Every year, we work with our partners to make StuDay a more sustainable event. We consciously choose reusable cups and catering equipment, use fewer generators, ban flyers, and promote the circular use of materials. We also encourage our visitors to come and celebrate with us at Spoor Oost, whether by pedaling, walking, tram, or train.

StuDay is a project by STAN.
STAN is a structural collaboration between the city of Antwerp, the Antwerp higher education institutions and the Antwerp Student Consultation.
With STAN we put our students on a
stage in the middle of Antwerp, glorious partner in crime and the student city to live, study and perhaps eventually work.
Hence our name: STAN, Student & Antwerp.
