Terms and Conditions

Every student, connected to an Antwerp higher education institution, can participate in StuDay 2025.

For the event on Thursday, 25 September 2025, students can take part after registering on the website www.studay.be. Ticket requests are handled via the self-service ticketing platform Eventsquare. A transfer of personal data takes place from Eventsquare to STAN.

Entry into force and duration

StuDay is a one-day event: the exact day and times of the programme components will be communicated via www.studay.be.

Fees and costs

Participation in the StuDay event on 25 September 2025 is free of charge after registering on www.studay.be.

Privacy policy

How do we process your personal data?

The data you provide will be processed by STAN (E: hello@stanstan.be / T: 03 292 31 70).

Registration
Purpose of processing: Your data (name, email address, course, and education institution) will be used for:

User profiling
Improvement of services
Providing tips, recommendations and information about the project via an e-letter
Transfer to other parties: no

Newsletter

Purpose of processing: your data (name, email address, education institution, field of study, and postal code) will be used exclusively for visitor analysis and for sending newsletters with important announcements, news, or promotions in the context of StuDay and STAN, Student & Antwerp. You have given your consent for this processing. You may withdraw this consent at any time.

To do so, contact STAN (E: hello@stanstan.be / T: 03 292 31 70) or click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the newsletter you received.

VI.BE platform

To obtain a selection of candidates and choose a winner for the VI.BE contest, STAN uses the VI.BE platform. On this platform, VI.BE vzw processes personal data in the context of fulfilling an agreement, enabling people to participate in activities or use the services of VI.BE vzw. For the VI.BE contest, a limited set of data (name, email address, phone number, gender) is transferred to STAN via the VI.BE platform.

Retention period

Your personal data will be processed and stored as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Your data will be retained by STAN for a period of two years. After this period, your personal data will be deleted.

Disclaimer

By participating in StuDay, the student agrees to the use of his/her image rights for promotional purposes of StuDay and the operations of STAN. This means no additional approval needs to be requested from participants for the publication of recordings or pictures by STAN and StuDay partners, as long as they are used within the scope of this project.

Taking photographs and filming at STAN projects is permitted provided the images are not used for commercial purposes, unless explicit permission is obtained from the organisation.

Your rights

Pursuant to REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, the so-called General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify and, where applicable, erase your data. To exercise these rights, contact STAN (E: hello@stanstan.be / T: 03 292 31 70).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the Data Protection Authority) if you believe your data has been processed incorrectly.
